Privacy policy
Last updated 1 November 2026
What this website collects, why, who else sees it, and how to have it deleted. When you sign in to one of our apps, the policy shown in that app covers your account.
Who is responsible
Verintra is responsible for the personal data processed on this website: the controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the data controller (veri sorumlusu) under Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
For anything in this policy, including every request listed under Your rights, write to info@verintra.com.
What we collect, and why
When you visit
Our hosting provider’s servers record technical data with every request: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the page you came from and the time. We use it to deliver the site, keep it secure and find faults. A security plugin (Wordfence) checks requests against known attacks and can block an address that behaves like one.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)).
Visit statistics without cookies
PostHog counts visits in cookieless mode. Nothing is stored on your device, and visitors are counted with a server-side hash that changes every day, so visits on different days cannot be linked to each other. We see which pages are read and where visitors came from, for example a search engine or an AI assistant. PostHog processes this data on servers in the EU.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are useful (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)).
Google Analytics and Google Ads, only with your consent
If you accept cookies in the banner, Google Analytics 4 and the Google Ads conversion tag measure how the site is used and whether our ads lead to visits. Until you accept, or if you decline, the tags run in Google’s consent mode: they set no cookies and send Google only signals without identifiers, such as the page viewed and your consent choice. You can change your choice at any time under Cookie settings in the footer.
Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK Art. 5(1)), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
The contact form
Name, email address, company (optional), topic and message. The form sends them as an email to info@verintra.com, a mailbox at our hosting provider; the website does not store them. We use them to answer you. To stop spam, a one-way hash of your IP address is kept for one hour to count how often the form is sent.
Legal basis: steps you ask for before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(c) and (f)).
Booking a call
Name, email address, an optional note and the time you pick. The booking creates an event in our Google Calendar with a Google Meet link, and Google emails you the invitation. A one-way hash of your IP address is kept for one hour to limit repeated bookings.
Legal basis: steps you ask for before a possible contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); KVKK Art. 5(2)(c)).
If you write to us directly, we keep your email and our reply in our mailbox for as long as the conversation needs.
Blog comments
Comments on the blog are closed. Comments written earlier are stored with the name, email address, website, IP address and browser given at the time; only the name and the comment are shown. Write to us and we remove yours.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the discussion under our articles (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)).
Our apps
The scan and listening boxes on this site only check what you type and then link to app.verintra.com or voc.verintra.com; nothing you type there is sent from this website. Once you are in an app, its own policy applies.
Cookies and storage
The first three entries keep the site working and need no consent. The Google cookies are set only after you accept them.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
cookieConsent, cookieBannerSeen, cookieConsentAt | Local storage | Remembers your cookie choice | 1 year, then we ask again |
wp_consent_statistics, wp_consent_marketing | Cookie | Passes your choice to the Google tags | 30 days |
vr-jump, vr-plans | Session storage | Opens the next page where you clicked, for example on the calendar | Until the tab closes |
_ga, _ga_F12H7QTC3B | Cookie, Google Analytics | Tells visits apart | 2 years |
_gcl_au | Cookie, Google Ads | Links an ad click to the visit | 90 days |
Who else processes it
These providers process data for us:
- Hostinger: hosting of the website and of the info@verintra.com mailbox.
- Google: Calendar and Meet for bookings and, with your consent, Analytics and Ads.
- PostHog: cookieless visit statistics, hosted in the EU.
- Defiant (Wordfence): protection against attacks.
We share data with authorities only where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.
Transfers abroad
Google, Defiant and PostHog are companies based in the United States, so personal data can reach the US even where it is stored in the EU. Such transfers rely on the safeguards the law provides: the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified, the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, and, for transfers from Türkiye, the standard contracts under KVKK Article 9.
How long we keep it
- Server and security logs: for the short period set by our hosting provider and the security plugin, then deleted.
- Spam and booking counters: one hour.
- Emails, contact messages and booking events: as long as the conversation needs, and no longer than two years after our last contact, unless a contract or the law requires longer.
- Google Analytics data: for the retention period set in our account, at most 14 months.
- Blog comments: until the comment or the post is deleted, or you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and a copy in a portable format. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and withdraw consent at any time.
Under KVKK Article 11 you can learn whether your data is processed and request information about it, learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly, know the third parties it is transferred to in Türkiye or abroad, ask for correction, deletion or destruction and for those to be passed on to the third parties, object to a result against you that comes solely from automated analysis, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Write to info@verintra.com. We answer within one month, and requests under KVKK within 30 days. You can also complain to a data protection authority: in the EU, the authority where you live or work; in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu).
No decision with legal or similarly significant effect is made about you by automated means.
Security, children, changes
The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), access to its administration is limited to the people who run it, and a security plugin watches for attacks. No system is perfectly secure, so we collect only what each purpose needs.
This website is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change affects you materially, we say so on this page.
Google API data
Verintra’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
